The story is set in the 1930s in a remote town that has been forgotten. A stranger drops in unannounced and causes turmoil to the miserable lives of the townspeople. A discussion between the psychologist and the stranger discover a dark secret that turns the tables on who is the real guilty party for the pain of the townspeople.
