Thirteen-year-old Quynh lives with his family in a simple hut in central Vietnam. It is the rainy season, the time when their village is flooded every year. On top of that, the area is still littered with mines and bombs from the war. But their village is to be resettled by the government. A lottery for land will decide who gets the best spots on a safe hill. Building the new house is a gamble for the whole family.
