"Cani" is the story of a man, THE GUARDIAN, and a CHILD. Both forced to live in a reality made of dust, blood and violence, that of clandestine dog fights. The child is the protagonist of this story. Exploited like the dogs he takes care of, he too lives in a "cage" from which he comes impossible to escape. He has no friends, desires or interests. Like an automaton with precise functions he repeats his duties constantly, day after day, without knowing the difference between what is right and wrong. Only a random meeting will be in able to ignite hope in him. The guardian is a mysterious man, scruffy, from the unknown past. She lives with the child, with whom she takes care of the dogs combat. .
