The story of the heroes of the film "Everyone is Dancing!" is inspired by the poetry of Leningrad lyricists of the 50s and 60s and partly by the motives of Fazil Iskander's story "Retribution". The film tells about the Ligovka district of St. Petersburg, known to every resident of St. Petersburg as a place where punks live.
