A group of artisans sell handmade wallets, belts, bags and sandals at Rua da Ladeira, but the production is disorganized. A young businessman decides to invest in the boys, divides them into work groups and decreases their resting hours. In return, he offers them a great place to live. Their “industry” starts to make a profit, but those who work continue to earn very little.
