Michelle, a 21-year-old aspiring actress who had moved from her small Indiana town to Los Angeles after a traumatic senior year of high school, has returned to her hometown for the first time since she left after agreeing to testify against her high school theatre teacher, a man who groomed her when she was 17 and is now facing jail time for his criminal, predatory actions.
