Friends Niko and Siko leave the old painting that depicts them and embark on a journey to find their own home. However, they are disoriented by the unfamiliar city, its new highways, and cheerful, intelligent inhabitants. Instead of the narrow, poor streets and huts they remember, they find themselves in a vastly different landscape. By morning, Niko and Siko return to the museum, their quest for home still ongoing.
