Soi Mountain is a low mountain located in Cheolwon, surrounded by wide plains and sites of Korean War battle fields. Miryoung, a new ecotourism guide, meets Myunghee, a senior guide, while climbing Soi Mountain where she works. Together, they practice their scripts for visitor tours as they climb. Their stories range from tiny moss, lichen to acacia trees, and include tales about Soi Mountain's military facilities and surroundings. As they climb, they each confront their personal stories of war and loss from their memories.
