In the Colombian Pacific, a few years ago there were still old people who claimed that the marimba was played in heaven. Currently in Tumaco a touch of marimba, the beating of two conunos, two bass drums and two guasás, on a Saturday night, indicate the celebration of a currulao. In the film, in the midst of currulaos, dance, stories, poetry, colorful choreography and stories are intertwined that depict the daily life of the residents of Tumaco.
