Ábaco 211 (2016)
According to the military nomenclature deployed during the last Argentine civil-military dictatorship, Area 211 corresponded to the south of the province of Santa Fe. Several hundred people were murdered or disappeared in this region as a result of state terrorism. For several years, the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team worked in the Rosario area to restore the identities of remains found in cemeteries and other clandestine burial sites, helping to unravel the tragic history of repression surrounding this city. This documentary portrays the work of the EAAF and its implications for the reconstruction of historical memory.
