A young molfar wanders through the Carpathian Mountains in search of a connection with nature itself. Journeying through fire and water, he finds himself on a highland meadow where, beside a great bonfire, he sees four mavkas and dissolves into the fabric of time and space. At the same time, elder molfars recount their wondrous tales of the supernatural - stories filled with the essence of life in one of the most mystical regions of Ukraine: Hutsulshchyna.
