On her day off, Sonique arrives back to her apartment after visiting the pool, to receive an urgent call indicating the villainess Aria has arrived in town. There's only one heroine strong enough to send Aria packing, and Sonique calmly travels to her location. Sonique is familiar with Aria and engages her quickly enough with the simple request to leave immediately. Aria is strong and the two have battle before, but after an even back and forth, Sonique breaks out her power set and gets Aria on the ropes. Calmly, as if expecting this move, Aria pulls out a mysterious inhaler and appears to vape. Annoyed and amused, Sonique lays into her again but quickly realizes whatever Aria sucked in has transformed her abilities and limited her pain response.
