Baby Mozart is the 2nd Baby Einstein video in the series. It was released on February 1, 1998. reissued later that same year, and was the 1st of the Discovery Kit series in 2010. At the time of 1997, there was a popular scientific theory which stated that Mozart music made babies smart, and the idea for Baby Mozart was born. In 2000, the sound design for Baby Mozart was updated by Bill Weisbach. A new Baby Mozart CD came out when the sound design was updated. In late 2004, Baby Mozart had some footage replaced with different toys and updated the credits. In late 2008, some other replacement footage and another updated credits was used as well as having Baby Mozart the Koala as the host of the video alongside other new puppets put in the video. It is a music video sequel to Language Nursery.
