The lecherous monk Chingen collapsed during a tryst with his mistress and remains unconscious in the hospital. Rin offers her body in an attempt to revive him. Rin is the sister of Chinen, who became the temple's head priest after Chingen's collapse. Chinen also died in an accident. The atmosphere of the temple and the village had completely changed under the leadership of Kenchin, who succeeded her. When Chingen regains consciousness and goes to the temple, he finds the bizarre sight of the head priest Kenchin tying up a village woman and copying Buddhist scriptures onto her body...
