Night. In the hut Glasha rocking his little sister Dunechka. There is a black cat on the stove, who has lost all his teeth due to his old age, which is why the mice are bothering him. Suddenly strange shadows crawl along the walls, and an old woman appears in the hut. But the old woman persuades Glasha to leave her, and when Glasha goes to bed, the old woman kidnaps little Dunechka and takes her to the forest.
