Confronted with a terminal disease, Alicia decides to go back to the house where she grew up to remember a past life she never understood. In order to start and complete this journey, she wants her eldest daughter, Carmen, and grandson, Alejandro, to come along. They don't know about her disease. For one day, while they clean the abandoned house, Alicia tries to establish a new relationship with her daughter. Reality, dream, and nature become one in order to portray connections between hidden emotions and uncertain futures.
