A university professor is horrified to discover that he snores terribly, tormenting his wife every night. Secretly, he decides to undergo a not entirely risk-free operation and deceives his wife into believing he's going on a trip to Capri. An admirer seizes the opportunity to convince her that her husband is cheating on her. Furious, she sets off for Capri, only to find the admirer there, who tries to seduce her. Meanwhile, complications arise during the operation.
