Thirty-year-old David discovers that he is HIV positive and this changes his life completely. Whilst his old friends simply disappear, his relatives start getting far too close for comfort. Worst of all, his beloved sister, Berta, really gets on his nerves by plying him with all kinds of weird medicines that are supposed to save his life. However, he also meets two rather unusual people named Esther and Gael, who genuinely love him.
