Fikri, a practical man, falls in love with Emine, the daughter of the village headman Selami. His greatest dream is to marry Emine with his father's consent. However, when Selami sees his daughter with Fikri, he becomes furious and decides to marry her off to Kazım. Devastated by this news, Fikri has a dream in which his father Necdet tells him that there is a treasure in his fields. Taking the dream seriously, Fikri and Hasan Hoca begin digging in the area where the treasure is said to be, but they find nothing.
