A homosexual couple arrives in Mexico City, after fleeing Jamaica where they were imprisoned for their sexual orientation. At the same time, a trans refugee from Honduras embarks on an odyssey to the United States where they will be abducted by a drug cartel and will have problems with Central American gangs due to their gender identity. The two stories intersect in a house in Mexico City that becomes an oasis in a hostile world.
