In the port of Alexandria, Captain Gad works on one of the mechanical boats. Gad orchestrates a ship accident that is taken as an act of God. Abu Ahmed is appointed foreman instead of Gad, who was waiting for the job. Abu Ahmed feels happy and conveys the good news to his wife, Amina, who wants a child.
