Oriol Paulo was born in 1975 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He is a writer and director. A native of Barcelona, Oriol studied Audiovisual Communications at Pompeu Fabra University before atteding the Los Angeles Film School. Starting out as an editor, Oriol was quick to realize that his real passion lay in writing and directing. THE BODY (El Cuerpo), a noir detective thriller in homage to Hitchcok and Agatha Christie, was his directorial debut.
