Mike Butcher is a British engineer, songwriter, and musician. He began his career working at Morgan Studios, London, before moving to Belgium to work in the new expansion Morgan Studios, Brussels, where he eventually became head engineer in 1978. He was a frequent collaborator with Alan Ward, who was also an engineer at Morgan Studios, London, where they met.
