Sebastian Brameshuber (b. 1981) studied stage and film design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and film at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in France. His films are rooted in documentary practice, exploring the charged relationship between historical and personal realities through a reduced cinematic language. They have been shown and awarded at festivals including Berlinale, Viennale, Cinéma du Réel, Art of the Real, FIDMarseille, IDFA, and BFI London, among others.
