JORGE DE LEÓN comes from Santa Cruz in Tenerife, where he also studies before perfecting himself in Italy. He is a multiple winner of several diverse prizes (among others, the Jaume Aragall-Competition). He received his first engagements outside Spain in numerous Zarzuelas as well as operas like Lucia di Lammer­moor, Gianni Schicchi, Il tabarro, Macbeth and Andrea Chénier.
