Filmmaker and researcher born in 1944 in Saint-Cyr-les-Champagnes. Studied at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris. Co-founded the Paris Films Coop in February 1974, then Cinédoc. He has been making films since 1969. In pursuing his investigation of the cinematography of colour and how colours are perceived, he has developed various cinematographic systems for viewing colours and for binocular vision: "cinéchromies" and "cinéglyphes".
