She moved to Riverside, CA with her family, where her father was an Electronics Engineer for the government and her mother was a homemaker. She is the oldest child with 2 younger brothers. She moved to LA to attend UCLA Theater Arts where she received her BA in Theater. She did her first professional film while still a student at UCLA.
