Amanda Nemcik (b. 1984) was born and raised in Puerto Rico, in a family of audiovisual communicators. She has a Master's Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Cinema and Audiovisual Communication from the Catholic University of Argentina, Buenos Aires and a B.A. with Major in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. Amanda became a film and a theatre actress at thirteen under the tutelage of Cuban filmmaker Enrique Pineda (b. 1933) and other local theater directors.
