She began her journey in New York, cutting her teeth on documentaries and reality television, including iconic, Emmy-winning series such as Top Chef and Project Runway. After a decade in unscripted content, she transitioned into scripted work. Her television credits include Insecure (created by Issa Rae), Grown-ish (a Black-ish spin-off from Kenya Barris), and Queen Sugar (created by Ava DuVernay).
