The debut film by Franco García (Cusco, 1977), “Vientos del Sur” (2018), premiered at the Lima Film Festival (Peru). It was also selected for the Dominican Global Film Festival, Chicago Latino Film Festival, Cine Las Americas International Film Festival – United States, among others. His second feature film “Raíz” (2024) received a Special Mention from the International Generation Kplus Jury at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival.
