Ahmed Diaa Aldin

A film director, born on February 29, 1912. He studied the art of photography at the Leonardo da Vinci Institute, worked as a painter, and turned to cinema in the forties as an assistant director through the Association of Actors and Cinema Supporters. His beginning was with the pioneer of Egyptian cinema, Mohamed Koriem, with whom he worked in all his films. His first film was Without Farewell (1951). He specialized in directing social romantic films.
