Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Mark was always interested in visual mediums from an early age coming from great influences from his parents with a strong incentive of films and photography. Before he started making and participating in short films, Mark was more focused on photography. He started making short films in high school in Brazil, first as a cinematographer and a gaffer with one of his closest friends from high school, Eduardo Machado, who wrote and directed Modulation (2019).
