Linh Dan Nguyen Phan was born in 1996 into an artistic family. After graduating from New York University, she returned to Vietnam to make films. Her first film project is If Wood Could Cry, It Would Cry Blood, which won the Asian Project Market award at the 2021 Busan Film Festival. Previously, the short film Lost directed by Nguyen Phan Linh Dan was selected to attend the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in the Short Film category.
