ETA is a nonbinary, first-gen Vietnamese-American filmmaker raised in Tustin, CA by refugees of the American War in Vietnam. Their genrefluid work sees emotion as alternate reality and centers on amplifying marginalized voices on both sides of the camera, addressing colorism in onscreen representation, and racial and social equity issues. Currently, they're in postproduction for Menstrual, a meditative sci-fi drama about a wormhole being studied in the Pacific Ocean.
