Cameron was adopted from Dalton, GA in 1997 and raised in Long Beach, CA. Her mother is American and her father is Australian. At age 7, her and her family moved to Queensland, Australia, where she fell in love with acting. Cameron participated in the school musicals from the time she was in the fourth grade and soon after began acting classes outside of school hours.
