Upon his initial introduction to the world of film at a state university in Palembang, Rifqi was drawn to his creative side and started to produce short films. Ever since, he has continued to pursue a career in film and digital video production. Since 2012, he has completed 10 short films. one of which was screened at the 2022 Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival with the title Pabaruak.
