Sabrina Chebbi chose the cinematographic tool as a way to transform the violence produced by racist clichés broadcast in the mass media and many films about so-called "immigration" people. Documentary cinema is above all a way to regain power over these performances. In 2017 she made her first self-taught film under the name of Sabrina Thawra, Les coups de leurs privilèges.
