Juan Vilar is a Brazilian filmmaker, composer, and researcher based in Paraíba. A graduate student in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies at UFPB, he investigates narrative and regional cinema while exploring themes of identity, language, and artistic practice in his essay and experimental films such as Omniac, Fragmentary, Sick of Moving Images, and Volatile Scintillation.
