Best known for his intimate film portraits, many of renowned visual artists. Over the course of twenty plus films, Dale Schierholt's subjects have included Louise Nevelson, Robert Indiana, Tony DeLap and Ai Weiwei. His work has been commissioned by institutions such as Princeton University and New York's Art Students League. His films have screened at venues and festivals across the US and aired on PBS affiliates from New York to California.
