Vanda Spengler

Vanda Spengler was born in Switzerland in 1982 into a whimsical family that loved words. Her grandmother is the feminist novelist Régine Deforges. “She passed on to me a certain taste for transgression and freedom of expression. Nudity has always been simple, the relationship with the body without taboos. I knew very early on that the image would be my preferred medium.” Passionate about cinema, it was through this prism that she discovered photography.
