Damien Welch is former Australian dancer. He studied at the school of his parents, Marilyn Jones and Garth Welch, who were both founding members of the Australian Ballet Company, then at the Australian Ballet School, graduating into The Australian Ballet in 1992. He was promoted to principal in 1998, dancing across the classical and contemporary repertories.
