Kenes Duisekeyev (1946–2020) was a Kazakh composer, conductor, and Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He graduated from the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory, majoring in composition. He worked as the musical director and chief conductor of the ensemble “Gulder,” the “Kazakhconcert” association, and the pop-symphonic orchestra of television and radio.
