Areana was born in Oregon where she started her acting career at age 19. She then continued to pursue her dream of being a great actress, starring in local indie films such as, Hammer City. Eventually she landed a costar role, acting in the TV series, Grimm. A few months later, she decided to take a big leap and move to Los Angeles, where she landed another costar role, acting in four episodes of American Horror Story.
