Sulla is a Vietnamese filmmaker whose work revolves around what she calls “recycling memories.” With a background in journalism, she entered cinema as a self-taught outsider, gradually gaining experience across the whole process by writing, directing, editing, and producing her own projects. Her films explore nostalgia and the bittersweetness of ordinary life, blending subtle humor with emotional sincerity.
