From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Jean-Baptiste Andrea grew up in Cannes, France. He started making short films, and later moved to Paris. He graduated from college with a degree in economics and political science, but funded most of his projects by translating books. In Paris, he met Fabrice Canepa, and the two of them began writing films together.
